Windelkind is a small project that promotes the ecological alternative for diapers by providing a carefully selected limited range of brands. By configuring starterkits for the most common interests the platform provides an easy entrypoint and a guided start to using this garbage saving alternative.

While starting with Magento as an initial platform, the limitations in speed an flexibility on product assembly soon however forced us to look at alternatives. As no completely fitting solution was available on the market, and headless solutions were out of budget, we chose to implement a very barebone e-commerce shop in Elixir ourselves. This allows us to start with our current quite limited but custom needs, step by step improving as new capabilities need to be further developed.
