1 of a 100 started of with a beautifull start in a new market of limited edition design objects. With a marketplace completly written from scratch in Ruby on Rails, with a Mangopay powered commerce engine, the marketplace automation was in place from the start and with a few selected designers we managed to get an early footprint.

After three years with mixed successes we had to decide to terminate the platform. The competition had in the mean time become too strong for us and we started to loose traction. Therefore with the support from our early investors we made a radical pivot using the learnings from our commerce automation to implement the crowdfunding for art platform do nxt.
